Language: The Key To Life

There is an old saying that goes, “time you enjoyed wasting, was not wasted.” I have now spent nearly 4 years expanding my knowledge of, embracing, and admiring the Latin language. I’m both profusely grateful for this experience, and dumbfounded at the swiftness at which it seems all this time has passed. I remember vivid details from my first day of class my freshman year, feelings of anxiety but still eager and enthusiastic to learn. On the occasions where I feel overwhelmed by new concepts, I chuckle back to those earlier times wishing it was as “easy” as it was then. Yet, at that time, it was not easy…
